Campers at Mariposa Folk Festival are encouraged to recycle and compost while they are at their tents and RV sites. Bags and information on what needs to go where is provided to each camper to give them the resources needed to keep the camping area green.

The Green Team at Mariposa Folk Festival is helping to ensure that festival-goers are continuing their green behaviour in the campsites as well. There are water tanks provided so all campers have access to free water and do not need to bring disposable plastic bottles.
